SUMMARY:Business After Hours: NMU College of Business
DESCRIPTION:Business After Hours are designed to help you make valuable business contacts\, entertain clients and spend time with co-workers. This is a casual networking opportunity that's held at some of Marquette County's most interesting locations and businesses. This event is open to partnership members and non-members alike.\n\n\n\nThe College of Business at Northern Michigan University is hosting a Business After Hours to welcome John Baltes ('86 BS) as the 2022 Executive in Residence. The Executive in Residence program is designed to enrich student learning and faculty development by introducing accomplished leaders to the university community. In his position\, he oversaw the four divisions of the company and is a tenured member of SVA's Board of Directors\, where he has served as Chair. In his years of service\, he is credited with founding SVA Consulting and has been instrumental in leading many firm-wide growth initiatives around business development\, change\, and innovation. He graduated from NMU Magna Cum Laude in 1986 with a bachelor of science in information systems and was a running back for the NMU Football team.
