Please call 226-6591 if you're looking for a last minute spot. \n\n\n\nFall Fest will take place on Monday\, August 28\, from 11:00 a.m.   3:00 p.m. (rain or shine)\n\nRegistration Deadline: August 21\, 2023\n\n\n\nWhat is Fall Fest?\n\nFall Fest is a festival that allows businesses to introduce their product or service to the University community. Fall Fest is coordinated by the Lake Superior Community Partnership and the NMU Center for Student Enrichment.\n\n \n\nLocation\n\nThe Fall Fest location will be at the Academic Mall again this year. Directions will be emailed closer to the event.\n\n\n\nNew This Year\n\nEarly Set Up:  Setup for businesses and nonprofits will be from 9:00 a.m.   10:00 a.m. Early setup will ensure your booth is ready for students by the beginning of the event\, potentially allowing you to get a good parking spot and work out any kinks you may experience!   \n\nParking: Please limit one car per business as parking is limited and not guaranteed. A parking map will be sent to the register's email a week before the event. A parking pass will be given to you when you drop off your supplies and check in. \n\n\n\nBooth Space Details \n\nParticipating businesses and organizations will have a 'booth' space with an 8-foot table and two chairs. All booth spaces will have access to electricity. Please bring your own extension cord. In addition\, businesses may set up a canopy/tent.  Tents/canopies cannot exceed 10x10 ft. \n\n \n\nPepsi Beverage Company is the exclusive beverage provider on the campus of Northern Michigan University\; all beverages distributed\, marketed\, and/or advertised at Fall Fest must be from the Pepsi Beverage Company.\n\n\n\nAre you hiring? Let us know in the registration so that we cab create a "We're hiring" sign for your booth!\n\n\n\n\n\nRefund Policy\n\nA full refund can be issued if cancellation occurs 7+ days before the event. No refunds past the registration deadline (one week before the event.)\n\n\n\nNonprofits:\n\nNonprofits recruiting student volunteers for upcoming (near future) events and programs may register at no cost through the NMU Volunteer Center by calling 906.227.2466 or by volctr@nmu.edu. However\, the fee will not be waived if their purpose for being at Fall Fest is recruiting patrons\, new members\, or other general promotions for their cause. Those who register for free through the Volunteer Center will share a table with another non-profit. \n\n\n\nPlease call 906-226-6591 if you have any questions regarding the information above.
