DESCRIPTION:Each year\, the members of Operation Action U.P. and the business community from across Michigan's Upper Peninsula gather to review the accomplishments of the past year and cast the vision for the next.\n\n\n\nThe Operation Action U.P Excellence Awards recognize up to four outstanding for-profit businesses that have contributed to the economic well-being of the Upper Peninsula. At the Annual Meeting\, these award winners will have the opportunity to spotlight their business and say thanks to the individuals or organizations who nominated them in this competitive award process. The Annual Meeting will run from 8 a.m. -  2 p.m. ET.\n\n\n\nFollowing the meeting\, there will be a no-cost\, open to all\, education summit\, Business Owners Strategy Summit\, that will touch on a series of topics:\n\n\n	The Importance of Small Business Succession Planning\n	Attracting and Retaining Talent\n	Small Business Advocacy\n	SBAM Small Business Owner Reception\n\nAttendees will have the opportunity to hear from Brian Calley\, Small Business Associates of Michigan\, and many more well-known professionals who are local and regional. As a bonus\, we have a special entertainer performing in the late morning\, Ben Whiting Magic!
