Description
Fall Fest will take place on Monday, August 26, from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (rain or shine)
Registration Deadline: August 19, 2024
What is Fall Fest?
Fall Fest is a festival that allows businesses to introduce their product or service to the University community. Fall Fest is coordinated by the Lake Superior Community Partnership and the NMU Center for Student Enrichment.
Location
The Fall Fest location will be at the Northern Center Lawn this year. Directions will be emailed closer to the event.
Early Set Up
Setup for businesses and nonprofits will be from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Early setup will ensure your booth is ready for students by the beginning of the event, potentially allowing you to get a good parking spot and work out any kinks you may experience!
If you will have a large vehicle in your event space, please reach out to the LSCP prior to registration so we can coordinate with NMU/Public Safety.
Parking: Parking is limited to one car per business as parking is limited and not guaranteed. A parking map and pass will be sent to the register's email a week before the event.
Booth Space Details
Participating businesses and organizations will have a 'booth' space with an 8-foot table and two chairs. All booth spaces will have access to electricity. Please bring your own extension cord. In addition, businesses may set up a canopy/tent. Tents/canopies cannot exceed 10x10 ft. Food samples are encouraged. Purchasing of sales is not allowed.
Pepsi Beverage Company is the exclusive beverage provider on the campus of Northern Michigan University; all beverages distributed, marketed, and/or advertised at Fall Fest must be from the Pepsi Beverage Company.
Are you hiring? Let us know in the registration so that we can create a "We're hiring" sign for your booth!
Refund Policy
A full refund can be issued if cancellation occurs 7+ days before the event. No refunds past the registration deadline (one week before the event.)
Nonprofits:
Nonprofits recruiting student volunteers for upcoming (near future) events and programs may register at no cost through the NMU Center for Student Enrichment Volunteer Center by calling 906.227.2466 or by volctr@nmu.edu. However, the fee will not be waived if their purpose for being at Fall Fest is recruiting patrons, new members, or other general promotions for their cause. Those who register for free through the NMU Center for Student Enrichment Volunteer Center will share a table with another non-profit.
Please call 906-226-6591 if you have any questions regarding the information above.
