Housing shortages are impacting our regional workforce and cost of living. These are also exacerbated by the high costs of development, making it exponentially more difficult to address housing shortages and appraisal gaps. As local governments explore solutions for their community’s needs, the Land Bank and other authorities leverage brownfield redevelopment and/or other tools to offer important opportunities for offsetting costs. Working together to provide incentives like these will encourage investment and development. Please join the Marquette County Intergovernmental Housing Task Force and Anne Giroux, Marquette County Land Bank Director and Brownfield Director, for a workshop on Wednesday, March 30 at 6 p.m. At this workshop, you will learn more about the tools available and how they can be leveraged in support of local initiatives for achieving housing goals.
