About Us
As a small close-knit community, Negaunee plays an important role int he education of its children. Many community groups and organizations work together in order to help mold our youth into successful citizens.
Negaunee Public Schools stay current with continuing updates in technology, which are used not only in the classroom, but also with parent communication and information. Two software programs are used district-wide for parents' convenience: PowerSchool and Meal Magic.
PowerSchool is a web-based program that allows parents to access their child's grades, assignments, attendance, daily bulletins, and gives parents email access to their child's teacher.
Meal Magic allows a parent to access their child's meal balance and make online meal payments.
The primary purpose of our school is teaching and learning. It is our responsibility to develop intellectual, vocational, physical, creative, cutlural, and social capabilities of all our students to their maximum potention. Our schools belong to the people of the community, and we further realize that productive schools are built on partnerships of citizens, parents, and staff.
